Most people believe in a higher power of some kind. Whether Karma or a being with unexplainable power.

“We believe in God the Eternal Father…” this is the first line of the first article of faith as Joseph Smith Jr. posted to a news paper wondering about the growing Mormon movement.

The God Head

the LDS church Believes in the concept of the God head a group of three heavenly beings that control everything. They are God, the Eternal Father (often called Heavenly Father by Latter-Day Saints), His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.

God The Father

We believe Heavenly Father is the father of our spirits, and as such he loves us as a perfect father should. his rule is based in Justice, law and order, crime and punishment. As our father he loves us and wants us to be happy. As His children we all had the potential to be like Him.

He has a body of Flesh but unlike ours here, His is perfect with no sickness or damage.  He designed  this world we live in so we can learn the lessons each of us need and take the tests so we can become like Him.

Many miss understand this and believe we are looking to upset God’s authority. To that accusation our answer is, no. God will always be our God. He is Eternal, Like His Reign. We seek to humbly join Him in that Reign.

math question: what is infinity/100,000,000,000,000 ?

A: infinity

Now, how do we resolve the problem of imperfection? When God planned this out he decided to give us our “free agency”. In other words the ability to choose our actions but not our consequences. This way we could learn the difference between good from evil, and virtue from sin Starting our quest to perfection. This is plan is called “The Plan of Salvation”. I will do an entire section on it to explain how everything in this life works.
